Trent B Douglasville , GA April 01, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Electric Range FEFL79HCA F10 Error Code My problem rotated through many symptoms. Initially, the bake element wouldnt work. I tested element for continutiy and tested the temp probe. Bake element was fine but oven control didn't show proper reading, so I ordered a new probe (I later figured out my multimeter had a bad setting and the probe was OK). Plugged everything back in and bake element came on only to get an F10 error (runaway temperature) after about 15 mins. The next day, I tried the broil element and it wouldnt work. Multi diagnostics pointed to faulty EOC, so ordered from AppliancePartsPro.com. Super fast shipment - I received the next day!! Installed in about 5 mins and I have had no problems since. Easy to fix, difficult to diagnose initially. Read More... 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
