Randall R Erie , IL March 01, 2022 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator FRS26R4CW0 No water from dispenser or ice maker I followed upir trouble shooting video and concluded the water valve should be replaced. During the treoubleshooting I managed to bred one of the tue elbows at the filter housing. I ordered both parts and they arrived quickly. I discoverd that my really hard, rusty water had plugged the supply tube from filter to switch and then kplugged up the switch with black iron rusty sludge. I managed to blow out the tube enough to get water through it and clear the tube before the replacement switch. (That needed a 2nd set of hands to hold the drain pan for the blakc sludge coming from the tube while i turned on the water ) I finished the installation of the new switch. checked for leaks (only one at the copper compression fitting, not tight enough).
