Steven R Naples , FL January 23, 2016 Appliance: Electrolux Electric Range EW30EF65GSA Zapping and popping noise from back of oven followed by smoke when preheating oven Unplugged oven and removed back panel of oven, found schematics taped to back of oven. Found a relay board that was burned where upper heating element plug connected to it. Replaced relay board and then repaired burned connector by replacing the spade terminal ends that were melted. Suspect connection was loose and that caused board damage. The other board i replaced because some display segments had stopped working with oven temperature. Was difficult to see what temp the oven was. This was a secondary repair.
