Description

This is a genuine Frigidaire control board designed for ovens. The control board is the heart of the oven and allows the user to control things like oven temperature and function. If the board is damaged, it will not operate correctly and users may experience intermittent operation or have a inoperable oven.The oven control board is protected from most sources of damage by a surrounding metal frame. However, prolonged exposure to moisture or heat can damage the board. The electrical contacts will also degrade over time, leading to eventual need to replace the board. Replacing the board will require unplugging the oven or flipping the circuit breaker. Next, the user should remove the cowling around the oven display to expose the old board. Take note of the wiring connections and their location/orientation, remove them, remove the screws, and then install the new board following the same steps in reverse order.This OEM control board is sold individually.
