Description

This humidity control is the adjustable slider in the crisper drawer cover that opens and closes the vent to regulate moisture around fruits and vegetables. Replace a cracked or missing control to restore smooth adjustment and consistent crisper conditions.

• Mounts to the crisper cover and links to the vent/damper door
• Slides between settings to increase or reduce airflow for proper crisper humidity
• Typical symptoms: broken or missing lever, slider stuck or loose, vent doesn't move as you adjust, excess condensation or wilting produce

• Disconnect power; remove food, crisper pan, and cover/glass as needed—handle glass carefully
• Release the old control from its slot/retainer and note the vent linkage orientation
• Seat the new control and engage the linkage; confirm full travel and proper vent action
