Mark J Captiva , FL July 03, 2017 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher PLD4375RFC0 Dishes were still dirty after multiple cycles Looking at the strainer basket I noticed debris was still remaining in the dishwasher. After a little further inspection I found that there were shards of glass and other pieces of plastic in the strainer basket. Since this washer is used in a family vacation home it didn't surprise me to find that the top spray bar was missing as well. So, I pulled the bottom stainless steel strainer plate out and proceeded to remove all the plastic, glass, and food scraps from the strainer plate. However, I noticed a tremendous amount of calcium or other type of build up that covered and blocked all the perforated holes in the stainless plate along with the strainer basket. So, I used a bristle brush and removed most of the build up from the plastic strainer and then used a scotch bright pad on the stainless perforated plate to remove the calcium build up. Once the strainer basket and bottom plate were clean I reassembled the washer and ran two rinse cycle to help clean any residual build up that remained from scrubbing the calcium that was also on the housing at the bottom of the dishwasher. I then ordered the spray bar, which showed up the next day, screwed it in after putting the washer on, and the dishwasher works fine now.
