Charles C Orchard Park , NY November 25, 2017 Appliance: Frigidaire Gas Dryer FAQG7011KR0 Grill on air duct had an item melt on to it and partially block air flow It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed. I disconnected power and then removed 3 interior screws. Once I did that I removed the back cover and removed the single screw on the bottom side of the air duct that held it in place connected to the heat tube. I then reversed disassembly. I want to tell you this is a 2 person job. In order to assemble it you need to have some one hold the air duct in place to get the 3 interior screws in place. I was by myself so I ended up using 4 long strips of duct tape to hold it in place until I got the 3 interior screws in. I then closed up the back, reconnected power and ran a test run for about 15 minutes. Everything worked. The challenge was the one (yes, just one) screw that had to be addressed from the interior of the dryer. The other 25 or so screws were all accessible from the exterior and pretty easy to fix. It took longer because I did not want to take the dryer out of the laundry room and I had to go back and forth to the computer to check the video. I paid for next-day delivery and it took 2 days to get the part but that is my only complaint.
