Description

This convection fan element mounts on the oven's rear wall around the blower. It supplies supplemental electric heat so the fan can circulate hot air evenly during convection modes for more consistent baking and roasting.

• Provides heat directly around the convection fan to help maintain even temperature during convection cycles
• Failure can cause poor browning, uneven results on multiple racks, or convection modes that run without proper heating
• May show visible breaks, blistering, or burnt spots; an open element will fail a continuity check
• If standard bake heats normally but convection bake does not, this element may be at fault

• Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely before servicing
• Remove oven racks and the rear interior panel to access the element surrounding the fan
• Note wire positions; transfer any spacers or mounting hardware from the original element as needed
• Secure the element without bending it and confirm the fan spins freely with proper clearance
