I removed the inner liner on the door, and had to use a smaller screwdriver to reach the screws at a 20 deg angle. A straight shot to the screw wasn’t possible without removing more parts. Ken P Springboro , OH January 05, 2017 Handle broke off the door After reading some of the comments I removed the door inside trim carefully. Then I removed the 4 small screws (2 top and 2 bottom) that held the front door trim to the door frame. That loosened the front of the door enough that I could get a small phillips screwdriver in position to loosen the screws and install the new brackets with the handle bar. Replaced the small 4 screws back into their original positions and reinstalled the inner black door trim carefully positioning it into the correct position. Read More...
