After reading some of the comments I removed the door inside trim carefully. Then I removed the 4 small screws (2 top and 2 bottom) that held the front door trim to the door frame. That loosened the front of the door enough that I could get a small phillips screwdriver in position to loosen the screws and install the new brackets with the handle bar. Replaced the small 4 screws back into their original positions and reinstalled the inner black door trim carefully positioning it into the correct position.
