Scott G San Diego , CA May 01, 2016 Appliance: Model FDB1100RHCO Upper spray arm not getting dishes clean 1. Removed and replaced circulation pump. That didn't end up being the whole problem, although there was debris jammed up in multiple sections of the impeller. Still was satisfied with results. 2. Continued trouble-shooting and discovered a lot of additional debris in the spray arm itself. Score! That resolved all performance issues. 3. In hind sight, I realized the strainer was warped and was allowing the debris to penetrate all of the critical areas. Ordered new strainer and it fit up flush with sump. Lesson learned: IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL THAT THERE ARE NO GAPS BETWEEN THE STRAINER AND THE BASE OF THE DISHWASHER. That is the single most cause for the debris to be introduced into the rest of the operating components. If there are gaps between the strainer and the base of the dishwasher, you are doomed and you will end up starting the whole process over. Thank you!
