Frigidaire 154859401 Gasket OEM Part

Replaced 3-sided gasket on washer & bottom gasket on door. 2.5 hours to do the former job. Most of this time spent cleaning old rubber & RTV glue out of groove. Followed instructions that came with new gasket. Wrapped edge of putty knife with 2 layers of electrical tape to avoid damaging gasket while pushing outside edge of gasket into groove. Latter job only took about 10 minutes. No glue involved. Had to spread groove ends a bit with screwdriver so that I could get the leading edge of the gasket started. Tapped groove ends with a hammer when I was done.

After getting an estimate of $243.00 to replace the gasket, I said no thank you. I purchased the gasket, glued it in and we're up and running. I also replaced the the bottom door gasket.

I replaced the motor & pump. I have never done this kind of repair before. I found a video online for the exact model number and error code of my dishwasher. Between that video and Appliance Parts Pros having the exact part numbers the repair was greatly simplified. It took me 2.5 hours to do the repair mainly because of my nervousness about doing something incorrectly. I referred to the video quite often. If I had been more confident it would easily have taken a lot less time.

Replaced lower rack wheel assembly 's and replaced lower door gasket it took me about 1/2 hour, no tools required for wheel assembly replacement, but I did use a large flat blade screw driver and a small hammer to replace the gasket

While wife freaked out and was in the car for a trip to Lowes to buy a replacement for our high end, only five year old dishwasher, I ordered new tub and door gaskets, which arrived two days later. The day after receiving the replacement parts the dishwasher was up and running. Thanksgiving dinner, and the subsequent cleanup, went off without a hitch, thank you very much.
