John H New Bern , NC November 28, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator FRT18DRHW0 Door gasket required changing My co-worker bought a house to flip and gave me the refrigerator. The door seal was moldy and didn't seal properly. The only advice I can lend is to take the door off the hinges and lay it down flat. So much easier. With this seal you basically just take out all the screws, peel off old seal and set the new one in and tighten all the screws back down ensuring the seal is under the liner. Tools were a phillips screwdriver and a socket to remove door hardware. While I had the door off it was a breeze to level the refrigerator as well. G G Tallahassee , FL December 20, 2014 Appliance: Model FRT18DRH0 Food door gasket needed replacement I ordered a new gasket from Appliance Parts Pros. It arrived the next day! The gasket was held onto the door by screws hidden under the gasket. The screws were easy to remove and the entire inside plastic shelving insert came out. The gasket slipped over the plastic insert with ease and I re-attached the insert to the door with the screws. Re-attached the door to the fridge and it fit perfectly. Less than an hour's work. Should take even less if you know what you're doing....! Read More... 9 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
