Robert D Lafayette , GA December 30, 2014 The bottom of the door handle was broken After removing the trim over the door and removing the door from the unit which was a simple lifting up and pulling outward, the trim on the inside of the door snapped off and after removing a few screws the old handle was off, installed the new one and re-assembled, very easy. Thank you for very fast delivery, could not believe the service. it was fantastic. Ted R Stuart , FL May 07, 2016 Appliance: Frigidaire Microwave FGMV173KBA Busted door handle Got the replacement within 24 hours of placing the order. Removed the interior trim that was just snap in fit. It popped out easy peasy. Lifted the door off the hinge pins (no screws). Took the interior metal mesh glass protector off by removing four screws to get straight on access to the top door screw (did not really need to do this step, but I like straight on access to screws). Screwed on the two handle attachments. All done 7 minutes. Thanks for having the correct part. Too bad they make these with such cheap plastic parts. I have given up on the top vent, Replaced it and repaired that with epoxy. Don't buy Frigidaire micros. TR Read More...
