How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4452339 / 5304473830 Microwave Door Handle

Had to remove door ,take door apart to get to screws that hold handle on , was a little harder then I first thought , but got it done , save lots of money from not calling repair man , service calls around here are around 100 dollars plus parts 

Bought exact replacement from Appliance Parts Pros. Easy disassembly and installation. 

Replaced with new 

I looked up the repair on YouTube, ordered a replacement on Amazon twice, based on the serial number and both parts were the wrong size. Googled your company, ordered. The part was here in 3 days and once I had the handle, took 10 minutes. I needed a phillips head screwdriver for the three screws, and a straight head screwdriver to carefully pry off the plastic holding the door in place. 

Got the replacement within 24 hours of placing the order. Removed the interior trim that was just snap in fit. It popped out easy peasy. Lifted the door off the hinge pins (no screws). Took the interior metal mesh glass protector off by removing four screws to get straight on access to the top door screw (did not really need to do this step, but I like straight on access to screws). Screwed on the two handle attachments. All done 7 minutes. Thanks for having the correct part. Too bad they make these with such cheap plastic parts. I have given up on the top vent, Replaced it and repaired that with epoxy. Don't buy Frigidaire micros. TR

I carefully removed the cover to expose the screws, Removed the screws and replaced the handle and reassembled. Back in service at this time
