Description

Restore proper heating and drying performance with this dishwasher heating element. It warms wash/rinse water and helps dry dishes at the end of the cycle so loads finish cleaner, drier, and on time. What it does:

• Heats the water during wash/rinse to improve cleaning performance
• Assists drying at the end of the cycle
• Typical symptoms of a failed element include dishes not drying, sanitize option not achieved/indicator not illuminating, unusually long cycles, or visible damage/open-circuit on the element

• 1 heating element

Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the existing element to cool before servicing
• Remove the toe-kick to access wiring and mounting hardware beneath the tub
• From below, disconnect the element wires and remove the retaining hardware; lift the element out from inside the tub
• Feed the new element through the tub openings, secure from below, reconnect wiring, and run a test cycle to check for leaks and proper heating
