Steven K Apex , NC August 10, 2016 Appliance: Electrolux Dishwasher EWDW6505GS0B Error code 01 After having intermittent issues with Error Code 01 on our Electrolux dishwasher for several years - the dishwasher started having the code on a more frequent basis. In addition, it did not seem to be draining correctly, and the pump was not as quiet as when new. Prior to this repair, I pulled out the dishwasher, cleaned the hoses and internal parts, ensured hoses were clamped correctly, etc. Researching past repairs posted online, I noted issues with many components - to the point Electrolux even created a leak repair kit, which addresses the main problem areas of Error Code 01. I took the mentality that I did not want to chase the leak, but wanted to fix everything. I purchased the Electrolux Wash service kit, leak repair kit, and motor/pump. Instructions were provide with the respective kits - repairs were very simple. Taking my time, total repair time was ~2 hours. My only advice to those replacing the motor/pump assembly - especially on aged units, would be to go ahead and purchase the bracket the motor secures to. When I removed the old motor, the mounting points on the bracket were all broken - so I needed to order the bracket to complete the repair. After all repairs were complete, reinstalled the unit and ran like new. As far as service from Appliance Parts Pros - very professional, quick shipping, and correct parts the first time. I've ordered parts for other appliances and always have this feedback - will definitely return for future appliance parts needs. Larry B Holly Springs , NC November 29, 2015 Appliance: Electrolux Dishwasher EIDW6305GS1A Eo3 error code Replaced defective motor and the problem was fixed, but I would recommend ordering the new hoses as well if this job is going to be done due to water leaking from worn hoses and bad clamps. Now I have to wait for the additional parts so I can complete the repair. Make sure you have a Torx #20 amd #15 for an Electrolux unit. They hold the motor pump base in place. Benjamin H Coupeville , WA January 16, 2016 Appliance: Electrolux Dishwasher EWDW6505GS0B Error 03 circulation pump Replacing the circulation pump cleared the error and restored function. I had earlier had to replace the hoses to the circulation pump and leak sensor because of repeated error 01 (water leak detected). Apparently, the leak was from both a hose damaged by hose clamps and a tiny progressive leak through the motor pump bearing. Unit was installed 6 years ago. You will need a small nut driver for the motor capacitor (3/16"?) and torx bits for the base that holds the motor. Charles A Newalla , OK October 21, 2016 Error 3 message Replaced motor and pump assembly. Pretty straight forward swap....removing trim brackets, hoses and turning the dishwasher over took as long as putting the new pump in. Only suggestion....offer the plastic mounting plate as part of the motor assembly. The rather fragile tabs that guide the motor bracket WILL break off when you remove the motor. They didn't break flush, so I decided to reuse it rather than wait for another one...so far so good. Other than that, great parts that fit, great delivery speed and easy to navigate website. Thanks! Laura H Anaheim , CA July 12, 2016 Appliance: Electrolux Dishwasher EWDW6505GW0B Error 01 leak detected electrolux dishwasher I replaced the motor & pump. I have never done this kind of repair before. I found a video online for the exact model number and error code of my dishwasher. Between that video and Appliance Parts Pros having the exact part numbers the repair was greatly simplified. It took me 2.5 hours to do the repair mainly because of my nervousness about doing something incorrectly. I referred to the video quite often. If I had been more confident it would easily have taken a lot less time.
