Description

This sump housing collects and channels defrost and condensation water to the refrigerator drain system, helping prevent interior pooling and ice buildup. Replaces a cracked or clogged drain housing to restore proper water flow. What it does:

• Guides meltwater from the evaporator area into the drain tube and pan
• Helps prevent water pooling or leaks inside the fresh food or freezer sections
• Reduces ice buildup around the evaporator or under the freezer floor when functioning properly
• Works with the refrigerator's drain tube and pan as part of the defrost drainage path

Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting work
• Remove food and shelves as needed; allow ice to fully melt before removing the old housing
