Description

Replace a cracked or worn bin to help restore dependable dispensing. This ice container assembly holds ice from the icemaker and, when you press the dispenser, moves it toward the chute for cube or crushed ice. What it does:

• Stores and contains ice in the freezer until dispensing
• Interfaces with the auger drive to feed ice toward the dispenser chute
• Works with the crusher/cube selection mechanism (model dependent)
• Common symptoms include no or slow dispensing, cracked/leaking bin, or ice jams/clumping

Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
• Empty the old bin and pull it straight out of the freezer compartment
• Transfer any reusable parts from the old assembly
• Align the drive coupling and slide the new container fully into place; restore power and test dispensing
