Description

This ignitor orifice assembly sits under the cooktop and both routes gas to a surface burner and provides the spark to light it. Replace a damaged or clogged assembly to restore fast, reliable ignition at that burner.

• Feeds gas from the valve to the burner and houses the spark igniter electrode for ignition
• Common fix for a surface burner that won't light, has no or weak spark, or only lights with a match
• Also called an igniter/orifice holder assembly

What's included: One ignitor/orifice assembly. Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply before servicing.
• Raise or lift the cooktop per your model's service information; support it to avoid strain on gas lines.
• Note wire routing; set the electrode gap to the burner head per service specs and keep the lead away from heat/sharp edges.
• After reassembly, check all gas connections with an approved leak-detection solution and verify proper spark and flame.
