Geroy M Portsmouth , VA February 09, 2019 Dryer would not heat After following troubleshooting steps on the website verified the heating element assembly needed replacing. Since I had to breakdown the entire unit to get to it took the time to clean lint, dust and other buildup from inside and replaced other fuses also. Ordered and replaced the heating element assembly, control thermistor, thermostat, and inlet thermal fuse. Very easy repair following the provided videos on the site. Stephen V Rock Hill , SC February 05, 2016 Appliance: Model ELECTROLUX Faulty heater core After trying in vain to get a repair person over and take care of this. Sorry cant wait 10 days just to diagnose. I decided (yet again) to do it myself. I replaced the heater core which was really bad on inspection, along with the thermostat and limiter for good measure. Very straightforward repair, and as long as you follow the instructions you wont have any trouble. Didn't even take much in the way of tools. Saved enough money on this repair to buy myself a nice drill press. Dont forget to unplug the dyer.
