The Magnetron is an OEM part for Frigidaire microwave ovens. Located behind the waveguide plate inside the microwave chamber, the magnetron generates electromagnetic waves to cook and heat food. Powered by a high-voltage transformer, a magnetron coil focuses 2.45GHz radio waves through the waveguide into the cavity.
