Arif K Lorton , VA April 18, 2015 Glass top of my stove cracked from top to bottom It is an easy job if you are good with screw driver and some general sense of things. Unplug the oven and than I opened the oven door and unscrewed two screws from bottom lift the glass door up and unscrewed the element coils total 4 screws there in total and pull the whole glass top out, removed the bracket from old glass top another 2 screws and 2 small brackets(snap on) from behind the glass top and put them on new one. slide the new glass top with back brackets into slot lift it up again to put element coils back(4 screws) and put 2 front screws to attach it to oven body this is it. Entire project took about 1 hour. Repair service quoted at $350 total, which I was all in at $220.
