How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4560423 / 316531983 Main Top - Blk

Ordered a new top and one burner from Appliance Pro, which arrived in one day. Watched youTube video on how to replace it. Was very simple and cost effective. 

Fairly easy repair, aside from the small screws for the mounting brackets of the elements. Only a handful of screws to remove. Entire project took about 1 hour. Repair service quoted at $350 total, which I was all in at $220. 

Replaced entire top which was cracked. 

Had to take out two phillips head scr wes. Lift the top of cooktop. Remove burner attachements with 1/4 inch nut driver. Slide cooktop off. Detach back clips by simply pulling off and clipping back on nee top. Then removing bracket from front of old broken top and reattach to new top. Slip top back into bracket slots. Reattach burners. Lower top and replace two holding screws

Replaced top after I viewed video online on how easy the job was. It sure beat paying $700 for a new one. I saved $500 and it looks brand new!! 

I ordered a replacement top from ApplianceParts Pro.com they shiped it right away and I replaced my top in about 15 min. 

Flip stove top over and unscrew 8 screws for heating elements from top and screw them to new top in about 15 mins.
