Maurice S Rigby , ID September 22, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Tap(V1) / 24 " Built - In Dishwasher TDB662RBR0 Dishwasher would not pump water out motor running etc I took the pump apart to exam, checked drain hose and sink drain first, everything looked OK. After studying the problem for a while I decided it had to be in the filter, ordered a new filter and it took about 10 minutes to replace. After getting the new filter I realized that there was a check ball rattling inside the new one that my old filter did not have anymore, the real cause for the pump not to drain. P.S. I ordered these parts from Sears because they said that they had everything in stock, well after three weeks they finally shipped the parts but when I got them they were the wrong parts, Had to argue with them and finally got them returned ( I had to pay the postage of coarse) Will deal with AppliancePartsPros.Com in the future. My Dishwasher is a Tappan model #TDB662RBR0 and it is 20 years old. After the sears experience I bought a new GE ($600.00 machine) and after one load I took it back, Took 3 hours and the dishes were not clean, my Tappan cleans the same load in less than an hour. Hope this helps someone. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
