Joe D San Diego , CA May 01, 2015 F10 code Tried to replace the temperature probe first without testing with ohm meter; decided to take a chance. I then ordered the EOC timer/oven control. Now works great and also gained the seconds timer along with minute timer that was not stock with the first timer. Happy man; didn't have to pay the labor to install the parts, the videos gave me the confidence that I could complete the repair. Wayne W Clive , IA December 08, 2014 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE GLEF379DQG Cracked peeling ovelay on range controls and overheating oven (f10 error code) My oven was overheating and generating an F10 error code. I discovered that a new clock/timer unit was a likely fix. The old clock/timer unit overlay was cracked and peeling off so I figured I'd address both issues simultaneously. I removed the back of the range, unscrewed and pulled out the old clock/timer unit. I then applied the overlay (it has a sticky back) to the new clock/timer unit and mounted it into the range. This was a simple case of plugging in a couple of strip connectors and a few control wires. In total, it took about 15 min (I spent longer moving the range away from the wall and trying to get it back in place again than I did doing the repair). Read More...
