Frigidaire 316419339 Range Touch Pad Overlay OEM Part

Replaced control board and overlay, only took 15 minutes, oven works again and it saved me $900 which is what a new stove would have cost.

Ordered the new parts, removed the old timer and replaced it with the new one. I had to position the peel and stick over lay on the timer and attach the timer with 4 screws that I saved. The timer only plugs in one way so the swap out was very simple. The knob was a simple change out.

The stove became real hot and smoke came from the back. The display read F10. We turned off the breaker. After reading up on the internet and in the manual I turned the oven on again. Sure enough, the broiler element turned on instead of the oven one. I turned off the power and took the back panel off. The burned up relay was super obvious. I double checked what I needed on AppliancePartsPros. Then I ordered and replaced the Clock/Timer (control unit Part No. AP4513486). Make sure to order the overlay for the unit too (Part No. AP4499672). Some people say you can salvage the old one but I wasn’t going through that process. Swapping the parts was quick and easy. Saved the stove. A relay on the old unit failed. Found it burned up. This caused the smoke and the oven broiler to heat up.

We accidentally burnt and ruined the panel to the oven. The new parts arrived quickly and the installment took less than 10 minutes. We were able to do it ourselves! Looks like a brand new oven now and works perfectly. Very happy with how it turned out and was much easier than expected.

After discussing with Appliance Parts Pros techs, I learned the sequence of operation for the appliance. Once I had that information it was a given success. Experience is everything when repairs are needed and these techs were awesome on relaying that to me. Great people. Ended up being a relay integrated into control panel. Had to replaced panel.
