Gary D Howell , NJ August 31, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator FFHS2313LE3 Leaking defrost pan on frigidaire model ffhs2313le3 Previously, I removed the lower rear cardboard back of the unit and saw the crack in the defrost pan. It was probably damaged when unit was moved using appliance hand truck. I looked up the part number AP4319611 in the exploded view diagrams of the unit. The part was ordered and delivered in a few short days. Emptied the unit and removed all shelves/glass to avoid damage since the unit must be tilted enough to reach under and remove two 1/4 inch hex screws. Tilted to the right side (facing front) to also avoid compressor problems. Removed and replaced the pan and same screws. Confirm freezer drain tube is inserted into new pan. Return unit to upright position and reinstall shelves. Approximately 25 minutes with a helper. John H Palmer , TX July 09, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator FRS26HF7BB1 Leaking water The defrost pan was moldy so we ordered that first thinking there might be a crack, since it's bolted in, and the part was inexpensive and had mold in our current pan so we decided to replace it no matter what. Once we got the pan replaced, we could see the leak was coming from a connector and line in the back so we shut off the water to the ice maker, and ordered a connector and line and that will fix it all. We read on your site that it could be a connector or line, we just didn't want to pull the fridge out until we were ready to do it all at once. The parts are so inexpensive, that replacing a few extra parts for us was worth it. we want new parts and new connections and pans to keep it running smoothly.
