Frigidaire 5304483065 Electronic Pc Board OEM Part

Unplug unit first be careful there are sharp edges. not a bad repair had to pull unit half way out of window to access the board. took longer to get to the part because of all the screws but they are all the same size witch makes it easy to put it back together. just have to plug a bunch of wires in took them off one at a time so as not to mix them up some had glue around them i used a small soldering iron to carefully remove it and they came off easy. took about an hour but well worth the time and a lot cheaper than buying a new unit. great part fits perfect works better than original.

When I pulled the cover off, I found that one of the components on the PC board had overheated to the point of charring. I pulled the old board, installed the new one and the unit started working normally. Prior to pulling the board, I took several pictures from different angles so I would have a record of which wires were plugged in to which connector. The biggest problem I had was working with the small wires in tight spaces with my big fingers while trying not to break something else.

I goggled the issue, seems to be a common problem with these units, I ordered both the main circuit board and the circuit board controlling the switches. I replaced the main circuit board in about an hour, hard to get at, take lots of pictures where they wires plug into, I plugged it in and it’s working! Saved me 600 bucks from buying a new one! I’ll return the unopened part or keep it just in case, the person I spoke with was very helpful, I almost ordered the wrong part, but she got me squared away. Very very fast and prompt service, will definitely recommend this web page for further repairs for appliances.
