Petra S Westminster , CO August 31, 2015 Busted top rollers stubborn washers Dishwasher worked fine except the top rack would keep coming off the rails, could see the rollers needed replacement. Washer is 10 years old, and in that time the rollers had become brittle and broken. At first tried to use old screw and washer, but washer was impossible to remove from screw as I have hard water and the calcium deposits seemingly cemented it. Order this screw and washer set and within 5 minutes of getting easily replaced the old rollers. The video was very helpful, as was the ability to find all parts based on the schematics. Richard P Madison , WI February 12, 2019 Appliance: Model PLD2850RDC1 ELECTROLUX / FIGIDAIRE DISHWASHER Tenant overstuffed dishwasher rack forced shut broke rollers and bent roller axle screws New set of rollers and screws; also replaced slider rail end retainer caps (new were cheap, old were ok but chewed up). Note : the rollers (sold individually not as 8 pc set (!?)) included new screws which I had not understood from roller description. The extra set of (8) new screws I also ordered was less than $8 and I can always use oddball hardware anyway. We own a few rental properties as well as doing neighborhood favors for friends. AppliancePartsPros.com has become my go to source and I don't recall ever talking with a service rep. I've needed multiple parts over past 5- 6 yrs (for multiples of several different makes and types of appliances including washers, dryers, rangetops, ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, sink disposal units. The exploded drawings for part selections have always been at least as good as the OEM's. Only recently have I viewed some of their videos and found them to be more useful than I expected (45+ yrs doing this stuff myself without videos). As I get older my time has become more important than the very few (if any) pennies (net correction costs) I've saved. AppliancePros doesn't have everything for everything but come close enough it's worth starting here. I'm not a shill, they've earned my recommendation over time. Read More...
