Lisa M Harrisville , MS September 18, 2016 Appliance: Frigidaire Room Air Conditioner FRA186MT20 Compressor would not cut off Replaced thermistor and PC board . Not exactly sure which one fixed it but in guessing the pc board and the thermistor wasnt but $15.00 or something so we decided just to change it too .. And use a small piece of masking tape on small screws removi g the pc board and you wo t have to fight with it so much . And you can number your wires or we just unscrewed board and took one wire at a time and connected on other board Oh , and unplug before you start . :-) Lisa from Mississippi . Sebastian D White Plains , NY August 16, 2020 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE/ELECTROLUX FFRE2533Q2 A/C compressor was running but the fan was not. Replaced the capacitor and the fan was back on. The capacitor most likely burnt out when the electricity came back on from a recent storm power outage creating a power surge that affected the capacitor.
