Benjamin R Seattle , WA April 15, 2019 Appliance: Model ELECTROLUX FEX831CS0 The stem of the original switch had been twisted off I removed two sheet metal screws to remove the panel above the washing machine lid. That exposed four more phillips drive sheet metal screws, after removing those the dashboard control panel is held by two smaller black screws slightly recessed in the lower corners. This allowed the panel to be pulled down from the top, revealing the back of the switch. At this point I took a picture of the wiring connections with my cell phone to make sure I put them on the new switch in the same configuration. Removing the one screw from the front of the switch released it, and I put the new switch in and reversed the order of reassembly.
