Description

This temperature-activated limit thermostat is a safety switch for the range/wall oven that reacts to excessive heat to protect internal wiring and controls. Replacing a failed thermostat can restore reliable heating and reduce nuisance shutdowns during baking or self-clean.

• Monitors oven/cabinet temperature and switches its circuit at a calibrated threshold to protect components
• Failure symptoms can include: no bake or broil heat, oven shutting off mid-cycle, or loss of heat after a self-clean cycle
