John C Philadelphia , PA July 10, 2016 Appliance: Frigidaire Frg(V0) / Gas Range FGF351SGWA 2 top burner retainer screws were rusting away after many years of service I was drilling new holes from the top to replace them with stainless steel screws The 1/4" tubing broke free from one of the burners. Getting to it was a nightmare. These so called solid tops were built like an erector set. but I prevailed. I did take one shortcut. I cut the replacement tube and only replaced the damaged burner end and installed a compression fitting. This helped save some time getting to the valve end which was not damaged. Read More...
