How to replace Tube - Burner. I was drilling new holes from the top to replace them with stainless steel screws The 1/4" tubing broke free from one of the burners. Getting to it was a nightmare. These so called solid tops were built like an erector set. but I prevailed. I did take one shortcut. I cut the replacement tube and only replaced the damaged burner end and installed a compression fitting. This helped save some time getting to the valve end which was not damaged.
