Stephen G Katy , TX December 08, 2019 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator FGHS2631PF5A Parts of display on user interface were not lighted bottom of digits faded 2 of 3 indicators (water ice cube) went dark Looked up the model number on the internet, found a diagram on AppliancePartsPros.com which led to part number for the user interface, also found "how-to video" on-site that included how to remove user interface panel. When the part came it was an easy fix, remove defective user interface panel - remove 2 screws mounting lip, then remove 2 screws mounting panel, unplug 4 connectors in back, plug connectors into the new panel, mount new panel, and re-mount lip. Bryan L Talbott , TN July 13, 2022 The refrigerator temperature was not displaying correctly on the LED screen. Some of the LED number segments were burnt out, so I replaced the User Interface. Two screws held on the trim plate below the interface and two more screws attached the interface control panel to the refrigerator. There are four clip-on wire connecting to the back of the interface. All are different sizes and they only go on one way so you can't mess it up. Kevin G Naughtuck , CT November 25, 2022 Electronic module on dispensor panel missing display bars. Looked up the model number on the internet. Ordered and received the replacement User Interface the following day. Removed 2 screws under the mounting lip, then the 2 screws mounting panel. Unplugged 4 connectors carefully and removed the bad panel. Plugged in connectors onto the new panel, mounted the new panel with the 2 screws, followed with the lip. The replacement took about 5 minutes to remove and replace. Works perfectly.
