A small fastening nut that secures the top pilot assembly on gas ranges and ovens, keeping the pilot tube and components properly positioned for reliable ignition. Use when the original nut is stripped, loose, or missing. What it does:

  • Secures the top pilot/pilot tube to the burner assembly so the pilot remains correctly aligned.
  • Helps maintain a stable pilot flame by keeping components from shifting.
  • Commonly replaced when the pilot assembly is loose, the pilot won't stay lit, or there is visible wear on the nut.
  • Simple replacement part that restores proper mechanical fastening for the pilot.
What's included: One nut. Install notes:
  • Turn off gas supply and power to the appliance before beginning any work.
  • Use the correct-sized wrench or socket to avoid rounding the nut; tighten just until secure — do not overtighten.
  • Inspect pilot tube and surrounding fittings for damage or leaks when replacing this nut.
