Description

This washer agitator assembly mounts on the drive shaft and creates the back-and-forth wash action that moves laundry through water and detergent. Replacing a worn or cracked agitator restores proper turnover and cleaning performance.

• Attaches to the drive shaft/transmission to produce the oscillating wash action
• Circulates clothes for even cleaning and reduced tangling
• Replace if the washer won't agitate, the agitator free-spins or slips, laundry stays on top, or it's visibly cracked/loose
• Can also help address squeaking, clicking, or grinding caused by a damaged agitator

What's included: 1 agitator Install notes:

• Unplug the washer and turn off water supply; wear cut-resistant gloves
• Remove the dispenser/cap if present, then the inner cap; take out the retaining bolt or nut
• Lift the old agitator straight up; if stuck, rock it gently to free it without damaging the tub
• Align the new agitator with the drive splines, press down fully, reinstall fastener and cap, then run a short cycle to ensure proper agitation
