Whirlpool lsr7233eq0 washing machine was leaking out the bottom Jerald F. • Laud Lakes , FL • April 05, 2015
I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. None of the hoses were leaking - no evidence of corrosion or water mineral residue at any of the hose fittings. So, it must have been something else. I studied the parts diagram for the washer tub assembly and concluded the source of the leak almost had to be the outer tub's Centerpost Gasket. It was really the...

Broken fins on agitator Annetta H. • Crane , MO • September 23, 2014
This was a fairly easy fix. The only problem I had was that the cover over the retaining nut was difficult to pull off. I changed to a larger pair of pliers and put a little more muscle to it and it popped right out. There was a little corrosion on the shaft that needed to scraped off for the new agitator to slide on easily but after that was gone the new part slid on and with some downward pressure it seated in.

Agitator was not turning Edward M. • Glen Allen , VA • March 10, 2019
I had to replace the drive shaft and the lower agitator. The motor coupling was also worn out. The repair was challenging because I had to rebuild the gear box. This step was really messy and I had to wait for the liquid gasket to set prior to completing the repair. Cleaning and prep of all of the parts tripled the repair time.

Agitator piece had come loose and was damaged Marcia B. • San Francisco , CA • January 28, 2016
Purchase new agitator and pop it into place.
This was truly one of the easiest repairs I've ever made.
My fault, but the only problem I had was that I didn't realize that the agitator and the agitator cap were two separate parts. I ordered the agitator first, paid for shipping, then when it arrived, I realized I needed to also order the agitator cap.
I could have probably saved some $ on shipping if I'd ordered them both at the same time.
Even with the additional shipping, this is still far...

Washer agitator and hub broken Michael A. • Fayetteville , AR • July 18, 2015
I own several apartments with same washer/dryer combo. A couple months ago, one of my washers stopped agitating. I hired an Appliance Repair Company. They charged my $95 for agitator, $65 for hub and $120 for service call, plus tax for a total of $310. Oh, and it took them FOUR WEEKS to get the part in and fix my washer!. Something to do with "Frigidaire shipping issues".
Last week I had another unit break with same problem. Ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com for $80, parts arrived...
