This oven temperature control thermostat regulates heat by cycling the elements to maintain your set temperature. Replacing a worn thermostat helps restore accurate baking and consistent, reliable oven performance.

• Senses oven temperature and opens/closes contacts to hold the selected setting
• Can resolve inconsistent baking results, extended preheat, or erratic cycling
• In some failures, the oven may not heat at all

• Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the appliance to cool before service
• Access the control area; move wires to the new thermostat one at a time to match positions
• Route and secure the sensing probe/tube along the original path and retainers; avoid kinks or sharp bends
• After installation, verify temperature with an oven thermometer and calibrate per service instructions if needed
