Michael N Estero , FL April 06, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Washer WCRE6270K2WW GE washing machine sporadically agigated during the wash cycle and sporadically spun during the spin/dry cycle. Occasionally it would work if I unplugged the machine and replugged it in. A service tech diagnosed the problem as the control board. He ruled out other potential problems. Estimated it would cost close to $300 to fix above the $90 service charge. I figured that I could do it myself and ordered the control board, opened up the back, removed the original board and installed the new one. Took about an hour. Washing machine is working again. Original service call cost and part totaled less than $200. I'm happy. Hope that the machine functions for many more years. Bradley W Ooltewah , TN April 25, 2021 Appliance: General Electric Washer WHRE5550K2WW Washing machine wouldn’t always start when pushing the start button requiring multiple attempts to start filling the tub I purchased the replacement board and it arrived in two days. It literally took me less than five minutes to remove the cover and knobs, disconnect the old board, install the new board and reassemble the cover and knobs. After plugging in the machine I tested the start button and it started up with the slightest press of the button. I then retested several times and it worked flawlessly each time. Now I have a happy life because I now have a happy wife - who doesn’t have to curse the washing machine every time she tries to start it. Easy ordering, fast delivery, and quick install - what more can you ask for?
