Ge WB07K10232 Range Oven Door Bottom Trim OEM Part

I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. It took 30 minutes to replace the glass and clean up the glass fragments from the previous door glass. I looked up a video on how to replace it Utube. After watching a few videos on how to fix it. I started looking for the parts I needed. Luckily AppliancePartsPros popped up right away. The parts were available for a reasonable price and it only took a couple of days to receive them at home.

I was very pleased to get the glass on time and it was a perfect match. The only thing I had trouble was to get the screws required to fix. The screws were not available, so spend too much time trying find equivalent screws in homedepot.

Removed old door trim, cleaned glass and sides, and replaced with new bottom door trim piece.

Started by replacing the bake element in the oven but it still would not heat up properly. Then replaced the thermostat and it worked fine. Both of these jobs took maybe 20 minutes combined, but then of course I felt the need to clean the oven while I was in there and that took the rest of the day. LOL I had trouble with the bake element connectors staying on so I took the back off and reconnected them from there, crimping them down tighter with pliers.
