Kurt N South Williamsport , PA May 10, 2017 Appliance: Model JGBP28GEVWH The front door glass of my ge xl44 gas range was shattered by a flying crockpot I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. It took 30 minutes to replace the glass and clean up the glass fragments from the previous door glass. I looked up a video on how to replace it Utube. The only thing I had trouble was to get the screws required to fix. The screws were not available, so spend too much time trying find equivalent screws in homedepot.
