Steven M Grantsville , UT June 27, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Washer WPGT9350C0PL Water leak inside between tub and housing difficult to pinpoint Bought the bleach box. Ours appeared cracked and was leaking water. Couldn't pinpoint exactly where from. It also wasn't sitting correctly. Was sagging in the back. Bought the tub ring assembly as well, but couldn't replace it, due to stripped and rusted out screws. Wasn't necessarily needed to fix leak. The rubber water hose that connects at bleach box appeared to have a small leak, and the clamp was rotted out. I cut 1/2" off the rubber hose and installed a new clamp. Re-mounted the bleach box, using care to align the back catch tab. Repair took about 45 minutes start to finish. 3 weeks in, so far no further leaking! Read More...
