Ge WB27T11176 Button Board Housing (Control Panel Assembly) OEM Part

I ordered the three parts listed and now my oven is beautiful, functional and like new again. I first had to figure out that the original parts are no longer available and had to perform an oven upgrade. Obviously the original design was flawed and the new design works perfectly and looks great! The whole repair cost was about $328 with shipping included. The parts were here in just a few days, about 2 to 4 days (some in two days, one in 4 days). Much cheaper and easier than replacing the double oven unit. I would suggest that you order the small screws to hold the button board to the back of the face panel assembly. Also, there is only one screw, the middle one, that lines up on the bottom of the face plate. I drilled new holes in the oven flange to accommodate inserting the two outside screws. I felt better with them in place. The GE badge is reusable, but you may want to order that as well. it is a peel-and-stick and fairly cheap. I used a small piece of the shipping label and folded it back on itself to reveal the sticky side on all sides. I stuck that to the back of the badge and then to the oven face plate. The multi-wire connector on the back of the button board is easy to remove. There were no catches on mine it just pulls straight up and off the pins. Just be careful with it. There are two, one on each side, of the button board that you need to reuse from the old button board to mount the display board to the new button board. Just transfer them over. Removing the face plate from the cabinet face can be just a bit tricky. Just use patience and finesse so that you don't damage anything. A little wiggling may be necessary to get things to line up on either side. Concentrating on one side first and then the other is easier. Don't expect both sides to come off at the same time. It could happen in a perfect world, but may not. Just sharing my information and experience so that maybe it will help someone else. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros. Using the parts diagrams available on the Appliance Parts Pro's website, I was able to identify that my double-oven's control panel had not been previously converted. I took an educated guess that these 3 parts are all that is needed to convert my oven's control panel to the newer design. I was correct! The repair itself is fairly simple. I turned the power off to the oven and using a 1/4" nutdriver, I removed the control panel. There are a few pieces that have to be swapped over from the old assembly. The most difficult part of the job is aligning the self-adhering faceplate to the new button board. The end result is that my 8 year old oven looks & works like new again!
