Ryan M Harmony , PA November 14, 2023 Appliance: Model GDF640HSM2SS Dishwasher stopped working it would not turn on GE Dishwasher would beep intermittently over the course of about a month. It then began to shut itself off. I would have to reset the breaker to get it to come on. Eventually, it stopped working altogether. After confirming that I did in fact have proper power to the appliance. The main control board had power and was in good shape. I then traced the problem to being a bad UI board. William M Double Oak , TX December 16, 2025 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GDF630PSM3SS The display panel of my ge dishwasher lost power I did some diagnostics per a YouTube video and then found the Appliance Parts website. By entering the model number their system provided schematics of all the parts for my dishwasher. I checked out the two electronic components that would cause the control panel (user interface) to not function. The website has a drop down to show what symptoms would be expected from each part, if that part failed. That helped narrow down my search. I sent a message to the "chat with a pro" link one evening and had an answer the next morning. The part that I suspected had failed was confirmed by the pro that answered my message, so I ordered the part. After I installed it, the issue went away and the dishwasher is again working properly.
