Ryan M Harmony , PA November 14, 2023 Appliance: Model GDF640HSM2SS Dishwasher stopped working it would not turn on GE Dishwasher would beep intermittently over the course of about a month. It then began to shut itself off. I would have to reset the breaker to get it to come on. Eventually, it stopped working altogether. After confirming that I did in fact have proper power to the appliance. The main control board had power and was in good shape. I then traced the problem to being a bad UI board. When it finally died I replaced the control board on the user interface and it now works! The hardest part was finding a youtube video showing how to get to the control board as most videos showed the control board on the top of the door rather than the front of the door. Read More...
