Ge WB27X45315 Electric Range Electronic Control Board OEM Part

My GE Profile range suddenly stopped working. The display and clock worked, but every time I turned on a burner or tried to use the oven, even the oven light, it would shut itself off after about 30 seconds, but clock remained on. Resetting breaker did not help, which was the best advice I could find online. After multiple calls to repair men, finally someone came out. It’s all electric and I don’t think he was familiar with these newer stoves. He did find the schematics for me, and after he left, I started reading them and turns out the range stores error codes! With the help of Chat GPT, we determined the issue was the main control board (WB27X45315), not communicating with the upper control board. I ordered the part, which was only $120, compared to what the repair man was quoting to replace the entire back (over $1000). I was very nervous to replace this part. It looked very complicated and not something I’ve ever done before. I took lots of pictures of existing board and connections and got to work. I admit I had some shaky hands at the beginning but after the first couple connections, found out it wasn’t that difficult. I’m quite impressed with myself because the fix worked!
