Randall D La Mesa , CA July 03, 2015 Appliance: Model JE2160SF01 Wife caught it on fire! First, please learn how to judge what "Uhhh, Uhhh" means from your wife. Then look over to at what she is apparently looking at to see fire inside one of the microwaves. Walk over, open the door, pick up the on fire newspaper and dump it in the sink. She had placed the folded newspaper up against the emitter. It caught the newspaper on fire and burned a hole through the plastic emitter cover. Besides blackening the inside a bit, it the repair was just replacing the cover. The cover just snaps off. No removal of the unit needed. Snap it off from the top! The tabs which are normally on the top of parts with tabs like this, are actually on the bottom, so again, snap it off from the top. It's tight.
