Description

This high-voltage diode assembly replaces the diode in a microwave high-voltage circuit to help restore normal heating and high-voltage operation. It provides the one-way conduction needed for the magnetron's high-voltage supply. What it does:

• Converts AC to DC in the microwave high-voltage circuit so the magnetron can produce microwaves
• Commonly associated with weak/no heating or intermittent heating
• Can cause blown high-voltage fuses or arcing if failed
• Prevents reverse current from damaging other high-voltage components
