Justin L Setauket , NY January 03, 2017 Leaking door seal & excess water in detergent dispenser I replaced the door seal for the leak. We had a small tear in the sealing surface that resulted in water dripping down the front of the machine (just below the door). I also replaced the detergent dispenser main box with diverter unit. This corrected excessive water being left inside the detergent dispenser at the end of each cycle. I highly recommend replacing the dispenser seal and gasket nozzle to be on the safe side. As these parts are subject to wear and fatigue over the life of the machine. They are cheap enough to bear no significant reason not to. These small pieces are often over looked when performing repairs. But when you need them, you'll be glad that you ordered them. Henry Avila B Miami , FL March 29, 2017 Leaking soapy water from front when you turn it on Well I have to admit this it the first time I actually worked on this type of washer. Once I found out where the leak was I did a google search and it brought me to this style with this company. After I searched for the piece and then confirmed it was the issue and searched the site where it asked about similar issues and then I confirmed that was the issue. As some other reviews stated it was harder to take apart and put the washer back together then actually replacing the part. I have to let everyone know that this company has to be one of the best companies to deal with their customer service and their attention to detail is by far the best I've dealt with, The parts were exactly what was needed, the service was perfect, the items were supposed to be here in 2-5 business days and they were in my hands next day. AWESOME company all the way and all parts are OEM parts. Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers

Chris M Westminster , CO December 28, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Washer WCVH6800J1WW Water leaking and showing up underneath the washer I took the washer apart by first taking off the back of the control panel then the top panel of the washer. I then removed the control panel, lower front panel of the washer and finally the main front panel where I was able to see the filler tube (water inlet pipe) was cracked where it joined the soap dispenser. I ordered a new water inlet pipe and figured I would replace the dispenser seal since I was already there from Appliancepartpros.com. Parts came in 2 days and I was able to put everything back together and I have no more water leaking. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Screwdrivers
