Ge WD03X10031 Hinspring OEM Part

Removed two screws for the bottom access panel and two screws on the underside of the countertop. This allowed the dishwasher to be moved forward approximately 3 inches to access the spring location. There was no need to disconnect power or water. Tilting the top of the washer forward allowed additional room to hook the top of the spring to the hinge pin. The job took about 20 minutes total.

I order the part, and did it myself. I had previous experience due to the other side breaking three months ago (should have order two springs). Although this time the broken side was against the kitchen wall. Witch was awkward at best to get my hand, and arm down the side of washer to replace spring. I could have disconnected the electrical connection to pull the washer out further to make it easier. I decieded not to do that, and struggle against the wall. Witch in my opinion would have been the same amount of time.

Appliance matched the part I needed for my dishwasher. Part was exactly what I needed. Replaced . All good.
